This comprehensive kit allows the user to replace the heavy factory crankshaft pulley and cage assembly with a lightweight, precision-machined aluminum hub and interchangeable outer ring. The kit includes all of the necessary hardware, including a billet bracket to cleanly relocate the factory crank idler pulley. Once this kit is installed, the user can adjust the vehicle's boost level by simply changing the outer pulley ring to any of the available Metco pulley rings, a process that takes just minutes.
This kit is custom-engineered to be a complete bolt-on, with no cutting, drilling, or irreversible changes required. A special tool is included to assist the installer with removal of the factory pulley retaining bolt. In most cases, total time required for installation is about two hours.
This kit is identical to the Metco Motorsports ICPCOBRA2 except that this kit allows the user to select one pulley ring instead of two.
Pulley ring choices include: 1" smaller than stock diameter (for use with Kenne-Bell or Whipple superchargers), stock diameter, +2 lbs, +4 lbs, +6 lbs, +8 lbs, and +10 lbs. Please make your selection below.
Please note that Metco offers underdrive alternator pulleys that are recommended for use with +4 lb, +6 lb, +8 lb, and +10 lb crank pulley rings. These alternator pulleys are listed in the Mustang Cobra section of our site.
